Who We Are
Since 2009, Heights Interfaith Ministries Food Pantry has worked in our community to reduce food insecurity. The Pantry serves families across Houston and distributes pantry staples, fresh produce, eggs, basic toiletries and more on Thursdays from 4 to 6 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 12 PM. We are 100% funded by donations, 100% volunteer-run, and guided and supported by several Houston Heights area churches.
What We Do
As we receive food from multiple sources, (Houston Food Bank, Second Servings and many local businesses) we prepare it for distribution. The product is sorted and bagged for individual family distribution. Each family receives as much as 65 lbs of food on their visit.
