Who We Are
Since 2009, Heights Interfaith Ministries Food Pantry has worked in our community to reduce food insecurity. The Pantry serves families across Houston and distributes pantry staples, fresh produce, eggs, basic toiletries and more on Thursdays from 4 to 6 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 12 PM. We are 100% funded by donations, 100% volunteer-run, and guided and supported by several Houston Heights area churches.
What We Do
We have ongoing opportunities to move the pantry vision forward. These include activities of the Board of Directors, Special Projects to enhance the operations of the pantry, and Workgroups to study and develop best practices for managing volunteers and services.
